All the images above are inspirational artists of mine, and all follower a similar genre and use a similar direction in each of their shots. At least one member in most of the shots are looking directly at the camera, similar to many other artists shots, this shows that the bands are dedicated to their audience to create a bond with them via eye contact. However, one bands (The Black Keys - bottom middle), neither of the artists are looking directly at the camera, making them seem mysterious and even seem shy in way. The artists on the left of this shot seems like he is focused on something else, looking very intrigued by his facial expression and placement of his hands.
Each image is in black and white, which gives the audience a little taster of their genre of music, however, the middle image (Silver Sun Pickups) use a completely different colour, a brown, vintage colour, but also produce similar genre of music as the others. This could insinuate that the music they produce, along with the other artists, may change slightly to make it unique and aim to a wider audience.
Most of the shots above are Mid shots, as most of them are shown from the waist (near about's) upwards. This shows that artists with this genre follow the same shot type. I intend to embarrass this in my own final product by using a mid shot to follow the same type of genre.
